Product details
The Kai Shun Knife DM-0702 represents the perfect symbiosis of traditional craftsmanship and modern cutting technology. Its ultra-sharp blade is made from a high-quality core of V-Gold 10 steel, surrounded by 32 layers of exquisite Damascus steel. This excellent combination of materials gives the knife unparalleled sharpness and edge retention, making it ideal for the precise cutting of fish, meat, and vegetables. The double-sided grind and lightweight design ensure effortless handling, while the innovative hammered finish with its air pockets facilitates the release of cut ingredients from the blade. Rust resistance and the 18 cm long blade further enhance the outstanding features of this kitchen tool. Additionally, the handle made of black-brown Pakkawood in a symmetrical shape allows for comfortable use for both left- and right-handed users. A full tang provides exceptional stability and balance while cutting. The handle is refined with the engraving of Tim Mälzer's bull head. As a bonus, the knife comes with a handcrafted large cutting board made from old oak barrel staves, which, with its dimensions of 30 x 18 cm, is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.
