Alessi has set the ambitious goal of placing its third cookware series alongside the "La Cintura di Orione" series by Sapper made of copper and steel, and "Mami" by Stefano Giovannoni made of steel with an aluminum base. This line belongs to a decidedly lower price category while maintaining the same design quality and special attention to functionality. Jasper Morrison has tackled the challenging theme of representing "pottery" and has done so without resorting to his rigorous, linear style in a small design masterpiece of "Super & Popular."

The project has found attentive and careful solutions for some details, such as the flared rim suitable for drip-free pouring, the internal wall scale, the lid handle that allows stacking pots even with the lid closed, and the lid that can be lifted with a cooking spoon.
