Paws and Patch Cellulose Powder for Dogs/Cats (250g)

The pure cellulose powder from Paws and Patch is derived from plant cell walls. Cellulose is classified as a natural fiber. Cellulose powder is a tasteless substitute for fiber, for example, in cases of poor acceptance or intolerances to vegetables or fruits.

Feeding Recommendation:

Allow the cellulose powder to swell in sufficient water. Then mix it into the food. When feeding for the first time, the animal should be gradually accustomed to the cellulose. Start with 10% of the daily dose and slowly increase the amount over a week. Provide fresh drinking water additionally. A level teaspoon (TL) is approximately 1.5 g. Divide the total amount into the daily portions.

Feeding recommendation per animal per day:

0.5 g - 1.0 g of cellulose powder per kg of body weight. A detailed table based on body weight is included on each package. The general feeding recommendations serve as guidelines. These may vary slightly depending on the age, breed, diet, or activity level of the animal.
