Paws and Patch Cellulose Powder Dogs/Cats (150g)
The pure cellulose powder from PAWS&PATCH is obtained from plant cell walls. Cellulose is a natural dietary fibre. Cellulose powder is a tasteless substitute for dietary fibre, e.g. in cases of poor acceptance or intolerance to vegetables or fruit.
Feeding recommendation:
Allow the cellulose powder to swell with sufficient water. Then mix into the feed. When feeding for the first time, the animal should be slowly acclimatised to the cellulose. Start with 10% of the daily dose and slowly increase the amount over a week. Also provide fresh drinking water. One level teaspoon (tsp) corresponds to approximately 1.5 g. Divide the total amount into daily portions.
FEEDING RECOMMENDATION PER ANIMAL PER DAY
0.5 g - 1.0 g cellulose powder per kg body weight. An exact table according to body weight can be found on each pack. The general feeding recommendations serve as guidelines. These may vary slightly depending on the age, breed, feeding or activity of the animal.
