Monge VetSolution Canine Gastrointestinal The Fit-aroma® from Monge Vetsolution Canine Gastrointestinal contains natural horse chestnut extract, which has been shown to have an antispasmodic effect by modulating cholinergic receptors and calcium channels in the intestine. The Fit-aroma® has astringent properties that slow down peristalsis. The effectiveness of Fit-aroma® is enhanced by the inclusion of bacteria from inactivated Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus plantarum, and Streptococcus thermophilus. These are resistant to gastric juice, digestive enzymes, and bile acids, and are able to adhere to the intestinal epithelium.
