IAMS offers cats a diet designed for carnivores, as nature intended, promoting their health and well-being so they feel loved for a lifetime. Once your cat reaches its first birthday, it's time to consider food for adult cats. At IAMS, we believe that adult cats need a 100% complete and balanced diet that contains high-quality protein. Protein provides the body with substances (called amino acids) necessary for continuous tissue formation, tissue renewal, and healthy bodily functions, such as fighting infections and hormone regulation. Food that contains all essential amino acids in the amounts required for healthy growth must consist of high-quality protein. For this reason, all IAMS cat food recipes use animal protein such as chicken or pork.

Composition: Meat and animal by-products, fish and fish by-products (4% salmon), plant by-products, minerals, oils and fats (0.1% fish oil, 0.05% sunflower oil).
