Lotte Felt Ball Rug. A rug made from 100% new wool – you could hardly wish for anything cozier and more homely for your beloved home! The Berlin-based company myfelt is fully dedicated to the development and production of these naturally beautiful and durable rugs. Essentially, each rug is based on two things: many New Zealand sheep that are sheared for wool production, and the support of a manufacturing workshop in Nepal. There, the wool is sorted, washed, dyed, and processed into balls using a patented method. These felt balls are then combined to create a complete wool rug, forming a wool-felt mosaic with its own distinctive color patterns: the Lotte felt ball rug in charming color variety. For the largest sizes, myfelt hand-sews up to 50,000 felt balls individually, always in strict adherence to fair trade and European labor protection standards: each felt ball rug carries a "GoodWeave" label as a corresponding certification.
