Lotte Felt Ball Rug. A rug made from 100% virgin wool – you could hardly wish for anything cozier and more homely for your cherished home! The Berlin-based company myfelt is fully dedicated to the development and production of these naturally beautiful and durable rugs. Essentially, each rug is based on two things: many New Zealand sheep that are sheared for wool, and the support of a manufacturing workshop in Nepal. There, the wool is sorted, washed, dyed, and processed into felt balls using a patented method. These felt balls are then assembled into a complete wool rug, resembling a wool-felt mosaic, each with its own distinctive color pattern: the Lotte Felt Ball Rug in charming color variety. For the largest sizes, myfelt hand-sews up to 50,000 felt balls individually, always in strict adherence to fair trade and European labor protection standards: Each felt ball rug carries a "GoodWeave" label as a corresponding certification.
