The wood finish is spruce with a modern skid base in a white matte lacquer finish. The old wood look resembles wood that has been stored for 100 years, with cracks and knots being a deliberate feature of the natural product. The feet are white, and the cover color is anthracite. The unique surface treatment gives the wood a vintage appearance with a slightly rustic structured surface. The wood is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish, ensuring each bed is unique.

The wood is sourced from surrounding sawmills in Bavaria, using THERMO spruce that is steamed with high heat and dried without chemical additives, making it 100% organic and significantly harder. The wood comes from sustainable cultivation.

Abrasion resistance is high, with imitation leather exceeding 100,000 abrasion cycles and textured fabric at 30,000 abrasion cycles. We use solvent-free, water-based varnishes.

The bed features four adjustable bed depths (18 / 16 / 13.5 / 11 cm), and matching support slats for roll-up grids can be ordered as accessories. The upholstered headboard is included, and from size 140x200 cm, it includes a central bar.

This product is made in Germany from high-quality solid wood, with lacquered and brushed surface treatment. The cover material is imitation leather.

Assembly is easy and quick with understandable instructions. The package includes one solid wood bed and one upholstered headboard, but does not include a slatted frame or mattress.
