The wood finish is spruce with an old wood look, resembling wood that has been stored for 100 years. The wood is a natural product, and cracks and knots are intentional, contributing to the rustic structured surface and unique design. The wood is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish, giving it a vintage appearance.

We use a solvent-free, water-based varnish. The bed is available from size 140x200 cm and includes a middle bar. The wood is sourced from nearby sawmills in Bavaria.

The thermo spruce undergoes a specially developed process where the wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic. This process enhances the wood's hardness.

Matching support slats for slatted frames can be ordered as accessories, and the bed is only suitable for slatted frames with a fixed frame. The wood comes from sustainable cultivation.

Abrasion resistance:

• Textured fabric: 30,000 abrasion cycles

Each bed is unique and features 4 adjustable bed depths (18 / 16 / 13.5 / 11 cm) along with an upholstered headboard. It includes a middle bar with a telescopic foot and is of high quality, made in Germany from our own production.
