Wood finish: Spruce with an old wood look, resembling wood that has been stored for 100 years. The wood is a natural product, and cracks and knots are intentional. The unusual surface treatment gives the wood a vintage appearance, featuring a slightly rustic textured surface. The wood is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish.

Matching support slats for roll-up grids can be ordered under accessories. The wood is sourced from sustainable cultivation and comes only from nearby sawmills in Bavaria.

The design features floating optics, and we use solvent-free water-based varnish. The thermo spruce undergoes a specially developed process where the wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, resulting in a 100% biological product that becomes much harder through the thermo process.

Distance from bed frame to foot of string board: 25 cm. The bed includes a middle bar and is produced in-house.

Made in Germany, this high-quality solid wood bed comes with brushed and lacquered surface treatment. It includes easy-to-understand assembly instructions.
