The wood finish is spruce, showcasing a floating look and a divided headboard. The old wood appearance mimics wood that has been stored for 100 years. As wood is a natural product, cracks and knots are intentional, contributing to its unique design. Each bed is one-of-a-kind, with an unusual surface treatment that gives the wood a vintage look. The wood is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish, resulting in a slightly rustic textured surface.

We use solvent-free, water-based varnish, and the wood comes from sustainable cultivation. Available in size 140x200 cm with a center bar, matching support slats for roll-up grids can be ordered separately.

The thermo spruce undergoes a specially developed process where the wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic. This process makes the wood significantly harder. Matching clamping cushions are also available separately.

The wood is sourced exclusively from surrounding sawmills in Bavaria. The distance between the bed frame and the foot of the sideboard is 25 cm.

This bed features a wooden headboard and is of high quality, made in Germany from our own production.
