The old wood look resembles wood that has been stored for 100 years. As a natural product, the wood features intentional cracks and knots, with a rustic structured surface. The unique surface treatment gives the wood a vintage appearance.

The wood is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish. Matching support slats for slatted frames can be ordered separately. This bed is only suitable for slatted frames with a fixed frame.

The thermo spruce undergoes a specially developed process where the wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic. The wood becomes much harder through this process and is sourced from surrounding sawmills in Bavaria.

Abrasion resistance:

• Imitation leather: over 100,000 abrasion cycles
• Textured fabric: 30,000 abrasion cycles

The wood comes from sustainable cultivation, and we use solvent-free water-based varnishes.
