The wood finish is spruce with a rustic structured surface that resembles wood stored for 100 years. As a natural product, the wood may have deliberate cracks and knots. We use solvent-free, water-based varnishes, and the wood is sourced from nearby sawmills in Bavaria, ensuring sustainable cultivation.

Matching support slats for roll-up grids can be ordered separately. The bed is suitable for slatted frames with a fixed frame and includes a center bar for sizes 140x200 cm and above.

Abrasion resistance:

• Imitation leather: >100,000 abrasion cycles
• Textured fabric: 30,000 abrasion cycles

The thermo spruce undergoes a special process where the wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, resulting in a much harder material without chemical additives.
