Luceplan Lola wall lamp
R7sColour
Product details
The award-winning wall lamp Lola, designed by Luceplan in 1987, features an adjustable reflector made of micro-perforated metal, allowing for both indirect and direct lighting. An anti-UV Pyrex glass protects the light source.
The Y-shaped structure of the lamp resembles a divining rod, traditionally made from a forked branch or bent wire, which is held in hand to respond to attraction forces such as metals, water veins, or hidden objects underground. Since 2001, the body of the lamp has been made of aluminum to remain innovative and competitive in the future. The light source is available in aluminum and black.
Wherever it is placed, Lola stands out with its simple and understated presence. It is suitable for use in settings ranging from museums to entrance halls, as well as from living spaces to offices.
Italian designer Alberto Meda has been a freelance industrial designer since 1979, working for various companies such as Alias, Alessi, Luceplan, and Vitra. Some of his products are part of the Museum of Modern Art in Toyama and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
