VL Studio Table/Floor Lamp by Louis Poulsen

The VL Studio Table/Floor Lamp by Louis Poulsen is part of a series of spherical lamps designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen in the 1940s. Originally conceived for the Radiohuset in Copenhagen, the lamp was intended to indicate whether recording was taking place in the studio. The distinctive design of the VL Studio 320 Table/Floor Lamp features two differently shaped hemispheres and stands securely on the floor thanks to a slight flattening. The globe is made of metal or painted aluminum and mouth-blown three-layer opal glass, which creates a pleasantly soft light effect.

The unique design of this lamp is a true eye-catcher that creates a cozy atmosphere in any setting. Whether on a side table or in a hotel lobby, the VL Studio Table/Floor Lamp makes a statement and harmoniously integrates into any room concept.
