Based on the design language of the Classic, the legendary Horgenglarus work design, this seating furniture impresses with an aesthetic reduction that defines the archetype of the chair and fits into many interior styles and atmospheres. At the same time, the design from 1930 offers the highest seating comfort. The backrest gently conforms to the body and embraces the back. The model provides ample space in the lumbar area, preventing any forward pressure while sitting. The back legs and the seat frame are solidly curved, ensuring a sturdy and robust construction that is ideally suited for use in public spaces. This is why Swiss designer and space planner Frédéric Dedelley chose the Safran when he had the opportunity to select a chair for the "Sternen Grill" at Zurich's Bellevue: "I chose the Safran because it has a beautiful, curved, and very comfortable backrest. Additionally, the chair offers plenty of space for the star motif I designed, which I had the specialists at Horgenglarus embellish on the backrest and seat," explains Dedelley.
