The Swiss graphic designer and sculptor Michel Péclard created his only work in the field of furniture design with this stool. A close friend of Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle, he designed a legendary piece with this minimalist design. The three identical parts made of form plywood with veneer on both sides result in a stool that has a typical appearance yet is completely unique. It is a design that resonates even today. The very lightweight Péclard stool is appreciated for its relaxed seating comfort due to its slight curvature. In addition to living spaces, the stackable stool is also recommended as an object piece. It is often used in exhibitions, such as "This is modern" by the German Werkbund during the 14th Architecture Biennale in Venice in 2014. Due to its sculptural form, it is frequently used for advertising motifs.
