The happy mattresses of the UP/SIDE/DOWN line were developed for three sleeping positions: supine position, side position, and prone position.

The happy DOWN mattress is designed for stomach sleepers.

In the prone position, the happy DOWN supports the body in such a way that sagging of the spine is avoided, preventing a hollow back. A slight crowning of the abdominal zone provides gentle support for the upper body, while the rib cage remains free of pressure, allowing for undisturbed breathing.

The two sides of the mattress, one softer and one firmer, can be selected based on the desired lying sensation.

The surfaces feature special, pressure-relieving cuts in the foam sheets, ensuring that pressure on the chest and pelvic area is ideally distributed, eliminating pressure points that can disrupt sleep. This allows for uninterrupted sleep phases, resulting in better recovery and well-being.

The high-tech EvoPoreHRC cold foam is particularly breathable due to its open-cell structure. Its production requires 30% less material than conventional cold foams and is 40% more dimensionally stable than cheaper alternatives. This means special longevity, sustainability, and excellent moisture absorption.

The breathable mattress cover with HCS fiber promotes optimal moisture transport, supporting a hygienic sleeping climate. The cover is washable at 60 °C.

To ensure correct and straight posture of the head and cervical spine and to avoid overextension that can lead to shoulder and neck tension, it is recommended to choose a pillow with a very low height in this position, such as the happy DOWN stomach sleeper pillow from happy.
