The happy mattresses were developed for three sleeping positions: supine position, side position, and prone position. The DOWN mattress is designed for stomach sleepers. It features two integrated firmness levels, a soft side and a firmer side, and is made of high-quality EvoPoreHRC foam. This foam was specially developed for mattresses and offers high climate resistance and support. It is also up to 40% more dimensionally stable than conventional cold foams. The surfaces have special, pressure-relieving cuts in the foam sheets. The breathable mattress cover with HCS fiber ensures optimal moisture transport, supporting a hygienic sleeping climate. The cover is washable at 60 °C.

In the prone position, the happy Down supports the body in a way that prevents sagging of the spine, which can lead to a hollow back. A slight curvature in the stomach zone provides support for the upper body, while the rib cage remains free of pressure to avoid pressure points in this sensitive area and to ensure unimpeded breathing. Additionally, it is important to maintain the correct and straight posture of the head and cervical spine; overextension of the cervical spine can lead to shoulder and neck tension. Therefore, it is advisable to choose a pillow with a very low height in this position, such as the Down stomach sleeper pillow from happy.
