BL5 Wall Lamp by Gubi
The BL5 wall lamp is an elegant and minimalist light fixture - a timeless classic. Designed by Robert Dudley Best for Bestlite in 1930, this lamp adds style to any room while providing very comfortable task lighting. Winston Churchill loved the BL lamps and had them on his desk as well. The lamps are displayed at the London Design Museum. It features flexible and adjustable lighting with an inline switch. Designer Robert Dudley Best - BL5 Wall Lamp
The "BL5" wall lamp is made entirely of metal: chrome-plated metal arms, shade, and wall mounts made of thermoplastic metal. The super practical "BL5" allows for perfect light orientation. The shade is adjustable, and the arm that holds the lampshade can be rotated around the pole. It also comes with a joint that can be oriented vertically. The "BL5" can also be height-adjusted by sliding the arm along the pole. The industrial look of the lamp makes a statement. Its functional appearance and subtle restraint convey a sense of neutral beauty.
