Product details

The Fritz Hansen Kaiser Idell 6556-T table lamp by designer Christian Dell is a famous work from the Bauhaus school founded in Germany in 1919 by Walter Gropius. It was created in the Weimar metal workshop using partially chrome-plated steel, silver-soldered and polished brass, as well as patented swivel connections. Following the original designs, each of the Kaiser Idell lamps reissued by Fritz Hansen is hand-painted in high gloss or matte finish, representing an unforgettable piece of architectural and design history that everyone should know!

Christian Dell was one of the most prominent representatives of the German Bauhaus and taught and worked in the Weimar metal workshop: the silversmith and industrial designer born in 1893. Together with artist Marianne Brandt, he designed world-famous Bauhaus lamps in a rational avant-garde style that were also suitable for industrial mass production. One of Christian Dell's most notable works is his design of the Kaiser Idell, created for the Kaiser brothers, which is now reissued by the Danish interior design manufacturer Fritz Hansen.

Impressively high-quality design that will accompany you for a lifetime: You can conveniently and securely purchase the Fritz Hansen Kaiser Idell 6556-T design table lamp by Christian Dell online in Switzerland.
