Frandsen Ball

Ball is a true Danish design classic, designed by Benny Frandsen in 1968. In 2018, the Ball lamp celebrated its 50th anniversary. Originally introduced as a pendant and wall lamp with a magnet, the magnetic lamp was particularly successful. In the 1970s, the lamp could be found in most Danish households and has since spread to summer houses, kindergartens, and any room where good light is needed. To this day, most Danes have a special connection to the small round lamp. Over the years, Ball has evolved in line with contemporary trends, and the lamp has been produced in all the popular colors of recent decades. Since 1968, the Ball family has been regularly expanded without losing its most recognizable design elements. Today, Ball is available in countless colors and models, from table lamps and floor lamps to wall lamps and pendant lamps.
