After the breeding season, the down is collected from the abandoned nest.

These down feathers are particularly large, light, and soft. They have tiny little branches, allowing them to interlock like a fleece. This creates air chambers, which contribute to their high heat retention capacity. Only half the amount of conventional goose down is needed, providing an ultra-light, carefree sleeping experience.
