Its robust design and industrial-grade features, such as piece counting, vibration-free weighing, and large weighing ranges, also make this series ideal for all industrial applications where the highest precision is required. The KERN Universal Port (KUP) allows for the connection of external KUP interface adapters, such as RS-232, USB, Bluetooth, WLAN, or Ethernet, for data exchange and control commands without installation effort. The KERN Communication Protocol (KCP) enables querying and remote control of the scale via external control devices or computers. The unified, simplified operating philosophy and the freely programmable weighing unit, e.g., display directly in thread length g/m, paper weight g/m², etc., ensure user-friendly handling. The robust aluminum die-cast housing provides a stable base, protects the weighing technology, and is resistant to daily use. A circular windscreen is included as standard, and the weighing chamber measures ∅×H 157×43 mm. A level and adjustable feet for precise leveling of the scale are also standard. An eyelet for underfloor weighing and a safety cover are included in the delivery.
