Precision scales

A precision scale is used to weigh small quantities of material with high accuracy. The most important features of a precision scale are the maximum capacity of the scale and the accuracy of the measurement. The range of accuracy is from 0.001g to 100g, while the maximum capacity of precision scales is up to 10kg.

However, you can also find table and platform scales which have a much higher capacity limit or counting scales with which you can quickly and accurately determine the number of small objects, such as screws, nuts or coins, by measuring the weight of a certain number of these objects and then calculating the weight of each individual object.
