Yes, the swivelling wheels at the front can be fixed very easily for natural paths.
The 4 R has the XL sun canopy. Otherwise they are not very different, both are suitable for city and country.
Enquiries with Hauck revealed that the harmful substances only referred to a batch from the production period September/October 2016 and March 2017, which were intended for the English market, where flame retardants are mandatory. These came onto the German market by mistake and can be returned free of charge. Other Rapid 4D models were never affected.

The difference lies in the tyres. The 4D Air has the tyres of the wheels filled with air, the 4D has "solid tyres".
