This bed adapts to the needs of a growing child over many years. With an initially low sleeping surface, getting in and out is easy and safe for small children. A canopy frame and canopy can be added to create a cozy atmosphere. All parts are included for later conversion to a bed with a normal height sleeping surface or a mid-high bed with a ladder, suitable for the child's age.

There are 4 conversion options:
1. Option: Bed with frame at floor level for the youngest
2. Option: Bed at normal entry height recommended for children from 5 years
3. Option: Bed as a mid-high version recommended for children from 8 years
4. Option: Finally, it can be converted back to a normal bed/couch for youth
