Suitable for the transmission of films as in digital cinema technology, with resolutions of up to 3840x2160 at 30Hz. Designed to extend existing HDMI High Speed cables and open to future 3D video systems. The Audio Return Channel allows a TV connected via HDMI with a built-in tuner to send audio data "upstream" to a surround system, eliminating the need for a separate audio cable.
