The 8K DisplayPort 1.4 cables from Sonero are designed for lossless AV transmission with perfect picture and sound quality. The cable connects source and display devices with a DisplayPort connection and, with a bandwidth of 32.4 Gbps, is suitable for resolutions up to 8K / UltraHD-2 / 4320p at 60Hz. It supports HDCP up to version 2.2 and is also equipped with the familiar DisplayPort locking system as well as support for the MST (Multi Stream Transport) function, which allows multiple monitors to be operated simultaneously on just one DisplayPort connection. The cable also supports Display Stream Compression (DSC 1.2), which automatically compresses signals with excessive bandwidth so that they can be transmitted. Forward error correction, full HDR and Rec.2020 colour space support and up to 32 audio channels are also supported from DisplayPort version 1.4.
