DMX cable from the premium manufacturer Sommer Cable. These pre-assembled cables are excellent for transmitting the 110 Ohm AES/EBU 2 DMX512 data format. Important: Using a standard microphone cable is not advisable due to data and information losses (caused by the skin effect). Data loss can lead to total signal transmission failures in the lighting sector, for example in the control of moving light systems. The very affordable price of this cable should facilitate the transition from a standard microphone cable to a proper AES/EBU cable. Our AES/EBU cable guarantees error-free data transfer even over longer distances of up to 100 meters. We use the BINARY 434 AES/EBU MKII cable with 100% shielding and robust full-metal black HICON XLR connectors.
