I have a BD player with an RJ46 connector or something like an Ethernet or LAN... Anyway, I want to connect a WLAN receiver, but I haven't found any products that have an RJ46 male so that I can plug it in so easily. Can I use this product to plug it into the BD player and then plug in any wireless receiver that has a USB A male?

I have an APC UPS unit and have lost the original USB to RJ-45 cable. Can the PC communicate with the UPS unit this way (RJ-45 goes to the UPS unit and then a USB to USB cable to the PC)?

Sorry, I am a PC layman. I wanted to use this connection to connect a USB to the network so that I can access the USB via Sonos. But it did not recognise the USB. Is that not possible at all?

No, you can't do that with it. That would be too easy and cheap a way.
