Hallo, also gemäss Herstellerseite geht das. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z170-PRO-GAMING/specifications/ Gruss
The manual specifies the CPU fan output as 1A (12W). The Chassie fans are most likely (as they are not adjustable) supplied directly from the 12V rail of the power supply. But I wouldn't go much over 1A per connection.
Unfortunately, I don't have a real recommendation for 60fps AND gaming AND a budget of 200. Nevertheless, this article Samsung S27F350H (27", 1920x1080) promises Full HD resolution on 27" diagonal and only 4ms input lag (delay from PC to screen). This value and many others are of course better for gaming screens, but these only start at 350+ CHF. Greetings Mac from JCPC
Hello Raphi I have also been looking for a supplier of such a fan extension card for some time. It is not currently on sale at Digitec and cannot be found anywhere else in Switzerland. It seems that Asus is not pushing the distribution of these cards (the product is not even listed as a product on the Asus homepage). Of course, I hope you have more success than me in finding such a card. I would be very interested in a source of supply if you can find one. Alternatively, I would use Y-cables for the fans, for example this one for 4-pin PWM fans: Phanteks Y-cable for 4-pin PWM fans
It depends on the purpose. If you don't want to move tons of data back and forth, you can use M.2, which is what 90% of users do.
I don't think this will work with this mainboard. The reason for this is that I have the ASUS Maximus VIII Hero Alpha motherboard and there the specification (on the Asus homepage) states ROG Aura (Aura Lighting Control) as a feature, but this specification is missing on your motherboard.
According to the manufacturer's page, the board comes without Bluetooth and without WLAN.
The Sapphire RX 580 NITRO + (4GB, mid-range) is a sham. A slight revision of the RX480 Source: http://www.tomshardware.de/rx580-benchmark-leistungsaufnahme-sapphire-nitro,testberichte-242347.html I would lean more towards a Geforce GTX card. Palit GeForce GTX 1060 Dual (6GB, mid-range) or ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 DUAL O6G (6GB, mid-range) or ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 STRIX O6G-GAMING (6GB, mid-range)
It is possible, but there is always the small residual risk that this board has been in storage for a while and perhaps still has an old bios that does not recognise the 7th generation. Then a 6th gen CPU must be installed for updating, but as far as I know there are also some boards that can be updated without a CPU, but I couldn't tell you which ones they are. If it doesn't have to be exactly this board, I would buy one with a Z270, then it will fit for sure ;-)
Yes, it should work, according to the specifications you could install 4 rx580, but because of this mining I would change to nvidia cards, unless you can wait a little longer or already have the gpu.
No, this is not possible. The distances between the PCI-E slots are too small. Unless all your 580s are water-cooled, then it might work.
Yes, that is possible. Quote: 1 x M.2 Socket 3, with M Key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices support (both SATA & PCIE mode) See also manufacturer's page under specifications: https://www.asus.com/de/Motherboards/Z170-PRO-GAMING/
Worthwhile for what? What do you have in mind?
why not use an asus mainboard with the z270 chipset ? then you could use its m2 ssd as an alternative. In addition, I would personally consider the 7700K CPu.
This mainboard has no (parallel) PCI slots. It has 3x PCI Express 3.0 x16 and 3x PCI Express 3.0 x1.
Hello, This mainboard does not have a PCI slot. If it is a pci card that offers a parallel port, you would have to replace it. for example with: http://digit.ec/5821769 Greetings
Yes, it's in.
Yes, the board works with the new Kaby Lake processors. But it also says so in the link from Bladewiss. That's why I wonder why he writes "No"...
Warranty message to Digitec. They will help you.
Can I use the HyperX Fury 2x 8GB with 2666mhz or should I use the 2133 Mhz ? Or does it not matter ?
It doesn't really matter which one you take. You won't notice much of a difference... 2666mhz is of course more optimal! http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-3171782/ddr4-2133-mhz-2400.html more mhz means greater speed, which also means that you have more FPS in the games. Some of the games simply scale more and it can happen that the faster ones have 10-20FPS more. Others don't scale at all and you only get 2-5FPS more... and that is then (in my opinion) not worth the price of buying a 3000mhz and spending 100fr more.
If you only want to connect your PC to the network via a LAN cable --> No If you want to connect your PC to the network via W-Lan --> Yes (buy W-Lan card) Best regards ;)
