Question about ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming
Hello Together I bought this motherboard and wanted to connect my Corsair AX860 power supply. However, the power connectors for the CPU do not match the board. Am I doing something wrong?
4+4pin Cpu cables are not identical with 2+6pin Pcie cables. You probably just got the wrong cable (should be labelled).
Actually, the connections from the power supply and the mainboard are the same. I know this may sound redundant, but are you sure it's the right cable and you've plugged it in the right way round? Have you tried any of the other cables included?
this must fit 100%! Please do not use the 2+6Pin plug for the graphics card but the 4+4Pin provided for it! Otherwise just read the manual again... all cables are described there... where which one goes!
