This active optical cable (AOC) is the perfect solution for high-quality, nearly lossless transmission of large amounts of data over long distances. With its full-metal connector housing, the cable is highly resistant to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). Combined with CPR certification, it becomes the ideal cable for buildings and offices - as a permanent installation between the source and the display.

Since the connectors convert electrical signals into optical signals (light), the signal can be transmitted over longer distances than is possible with conventional copper cables. Nevertheless, the cable remains very slim and flexible. Furthermore, there is no need to add an external power supply, which is common when using copper wire cables over longer distances.
