The MXR Standard cable is a guitar cable designed with a pure copper conductor. The capacitance of the cable is optimized, ensuring that the sound of passive pickups remains big and rich. Surrounding the core is copper shielding that protects the signal from interference and noise. Both internal insulation and an external PVC jacket help reduce handling noise, while carefully selected materials enhance the flexibility of the cable.
MXR understands guitar signal paths exceptionally well. With over 40 years of experience with effect pedals, they have accumulated an incredible amount of knowledge, which is now harnessed into the design and manufacturing of guitar cables.
