Active optical cables (AOC) use fibre optic technology to transmit the digital video signal. This means that the signal can be transmitted much further than with a conventional copper cable (up to 100 metres) and the risk of EMI/RFI interference is reduced. DisplayPort AOC cables also have special copper power conductors inside so that no external power supply is required.

The DisplayPort AOC cable uses fibre optic technology and reduces the risk of EMI/RFI in high interference environments. It offers a durable, extra-thin premium quality cable with stylish metal connectors and a smaller cable diameter compared to traditional copper DisplayPort cables. It supports 8K UHD resolutions at 60Hz.
