    Alexa with Skills in Switzerland

To save others the headache.... I have now set up everything at home with Amazon Echo Dot's (3x) various Hombli Smart Switches and Smart Plugs (sockets and light switches). To connect everything, you have to activate the plug in, called Skills in Alexa. If you create an Amazon account, log in and start up the Echos, everything looks OK. You will also find manufacturers such as Hombli in the app, but you cannot activate them due to regional restrictions. To do this, you have to log in to Amazon in any browser (it doesn't matter which one, as long as it's not in the Alaxa app) and first enter a German address for your region. It doesn't matter what kind, you can also use the nearest supermarket in Jestetten. It's just a matter of linking the account in the background to the German Gideoines. You can then activate everything in the app, including Spotify, etc. In the app you can also define your home address again to get correct weather data etc. Have fun!

Question: Can HmIP Wall thermostat WTH-B be directly coupled with an actuator?

Hello, I have purchased an HmIP underfloor heating actuator and would like to connect it directly to thermostats (without HmIP Access Point or CCU). Does anyone know exactly whether this thermostat "HmIP Wall Thermostat WTH-B" is capable of doing this? Or which one can I use for this? (directly coupled with actuator, without HmIP Access Point or CCU). Thank you.

    Alexa or Google Home mini

Hi guys, I wanted to ask which device is more worthwhile in Switzerland? The Google Home Mini or the Echo Dot 3 Gen. I need this device to play music through speakers (Spotify, no Bluetooth). Would like to know the differences between the devices? Thanks for the answers! Kind regards

I am looking for a "smart" push button that can be connected under an existing flush-mounted switch. Ideally, a signal should be sent to another device when the switch is pressed, whereby an LED diode should light up/flash at the end, for example. The switch is located outdoors. I don't want to build my own (anymore), it should be "simple". Some kind of "smart intermediate layer". The aim is to press a button and some LED diode lights up/flashes. First and foremost, the intermediate switch must be able to send a signal (somewhere) when pressed, which I can then use to continue working (control the LED diode). Ideally via WLAN. Does anyone have an idea or a product suggestion?
