    USB stick with labelling area...?

Is there a (reasonably fast and affordable) USB stick at Digitec with a labelling area? I haven't found one yet...it would be very useful if you had more than one of this type so that you could keep track of which data is stored on which stick...!

    Usb-Stick Spec Security Encryption misleading

Here you would have to differentiate between hardware encryption, such as Kingston IronKey offers and is solved directly via the drivers, and any accompanying software that you then have to install, such as with the San Disk Extreme Pro From my point of view, in the second case there should be nothing under security, otherwise all sticks would be AES-encryptable. Or am I misunderstanding something?

    Flat data carrier

As a digital attachment for a printed work, I am looking for a data carrier that is as flat and durable as possible. Sure, CDs, but they're already out today. I had also seen USB sticks in credit card format - is there anything like that here? Unfortunately I haven't found anything like that. Any tips? Ps. Storage capacity and read rate don't have to be particularly high.

    Defective UsB stick?

I bought the Hama Rotate 256 GB to record films and watch them on the TV. However, it is not recognised by the computer. It does not appear in the device manager either and it is not recognised on any other USB port, laptop or TV... This is not a driver problem, but defective hardware, isn't it?

Some of these things are too bulky, a big stick hanging off your laptop vs the samsung Fit drive for example

I did everything according to the instructions. It took several hours to charge. the scooter is called Bluis Stalker XT2000.

    Sorting "greater than

Hello Digitec, I want a USB stick over 32GB and faster than 75mb/s. If I want to enter this in the filter, I have to tick about 40 boxes. It would be easy to add a ">" or "<" at the back, which you can click on. Then I would only have to click twice. Thank you!

    5 years warranty

Could Digitec please put on the products like Item 9863628 (Corsair Flash Voyager GT Series) Article 11068705 (Corsair Flash Voyager Series) please adjust the warranty period to 5 years. These series (all sticks of these two series) already have a 5-year warranty from the manufacturer and therefore do not need an additional service "warranty extension to 5 years". It's also funny that the packaging shown (last picture) for item 11068705 more than clearly states the 5-year guarantee. It is also written on the packaging of the GT series, but there is no picture posted. Thank you very much.

Smallest USB stick, min. 256GB, USB A, 3.1

I am looking for a USB stick that is as small as possible. For me, small means that it should stick out of the slot as little as possible. I want to use it in my car radio and with the bezel closed it doesn't have much space. Thank you very much for a tip.

    Waterproof vs Waterproof

Please explain to me what is hidden behind these two terms. My state of knowledge: Waterproof is not necessarily waterproof. A piece of fabric is usually not waterproof, but it is water-resistant. So it won't break if it gets wet, but you can't protect anything from getting wet with it. For me, waterproof means that at least the outer shell protects any water-sensitive innards from water. Transcend uses the term: water resistant. Also such nonsense. Why not just speak plainly: Waterproof up to x metres and x minutes (no technical or data damage) and then there are the very clever manufacturers who say: Waterproof yes, but of course not salt water resistant (because salt water is so rare on earth).

    USB-C nano stick?

I have a USB stick on my old MacBookAir to expand the small SSD: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/sandisk-ultra-fit-512gb-usb-a-usb-stick-13068888? Now I am looking for such a stick to plug it into the new MacBooks, which only have USB-C sockets. Of course, this stick should also be small and inconspicuous and not protrude far from the device so that it can be damaged or broken off. What can you recommend?

USB stick filtering with data LED

Hello Does anyone have a trick for setting the filter so that only USB sticks with LEDs are displayed? I need one for a PLC. Since you can't tell from the unit if it is currently writing data, a visual aid would be easiest. Basically I need one with approx. 16GB, as small as possible as well as an LED. Thanks in advance

    Thephotostick

I am looking for a USB stick that automatically scans and copies image and video files when inserted into the unit. The device should be able to recognise duplicate files and only store one copy. Does Digitec have such a product? There is this "ThePhotoStick" that can do this, but I would prefer to buy something from a Swiss supplier if possible.

USB sticks with USB 3.0 and mechanical write protection switch?

Unfortunately, the filter option "Write protection (mechanical)" primarily shows USB sticks where you can write-protect the USB stick via a management software (!). The only USB stick in the Digitec range that really fulfils this filter option in my opinion is the TrekStor CS (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/trekstor-cs-usb-20-stick-mit-mech-schreibschutz-32gb-usb-20-usb-speicher-770778) and unfortunately it only has USB 2.0. However, there are USB sticks with the combination write-protection switch and USB 3.0: Kanguru, for example, offers three models with a mechanical write-protection switch: https://www.kanguru.com/storage-ac... Couldn't Digitec at least include the FlashBlu 3.0 model or the SS3™ model in its range?

Why are small USB sticks so extremely expensive?

The Kingston DataTraveler SE9 USB2.0 16GB, for example, costs 16.20 francs at your shop, and less than ten francs everywhere else (e.g. PCP.ch 8.40, Brack 5.90). I usually buy 8GB sticks for OS recovery or backup boot sticks in a three-pack for less than the cheapest USB stick at your shop (14.20).

    Extend filter option "Write rate

The selection options under "Write rate" go up to max. > 20MB/s. Since many USB sticks now fall under this option, I think the selection options should be expanded (e.g. for read rate). The "Sandisk Extreme PRO SSD" with a write rate of 380MB/s is clearly 20MB away...
