Low on motivation? Here are 9 fab outfits for yoga and Pilates
by Stephanie Vinzens

This article is short. So grab yourself an espresso instead of a latte. It’s about the weird fact that most yoga shirts have a loose cut.
Take a look at the photo above. That’s me in a downward-facing dog position, a standard asana in yoga. I’m wearing a loose shirt. It’s slipped over my head. You can see lots of skin, I can’t see anything. When I’m back up, I need to tuck the shirt into my leggings so it doesn’t come tumbling down when the next dog comes around.
I don't want to be faffing about during my yoga sessons. I want to focus on my breathing and do my asanas correctly. I don’t want to be thinking about clothes or my bra showing.
Sure, these loose-fitting yoga shirts also featured in our range have their purpose. They suggest to the wearer that everything is flowing – including the fabric. Understandable, but highly impractical.
So what I’m trying to say is: wear tight-fitting tops for yoga. For me, it doesn’t even need to be sports clothes made of super-duper-fast-drying material. A basic cotton top will do. I’ll wash it right after anyway.
Do you agree? Then I have some close-fitting tops I can recommend. You know, for inner peace and that.
