Now in the cinema: "The LEGO Batman Movie"

A new Batman film, no wait, a new LEGO film, no wait - what?! In any case, a new film with the fluttering man in block form is coming to the cinemas and we have the right licensed items to go with it.
The LEGO Batman Movie
After the first, extremely amusing appearance of the LEGO Batman in "The LEGO Movie", the solo adventurer is now getting his own film: "The LEGO Batman Movie". Srf-Kultur wrote a trailer review about it at the beginning of January. I don't want to withhold this quote from you:
"What remains is an animated film overloaded with effects and gadgets of the hair-raising variety. You can't help but feel like you're watching a commercial for children's toys.
And that's exactly what the upcoming cinema film is likely to be, a kind of permanent advertising programme to promote Lego kits and computer games. You don't have to do that to yourself."
Srf-Kultur is probably not entirely wrong. After all, the earnings from cinema admissions for animated films often only make up a fraction of what the corresponding licensed articles later flush into the coffers. Everyone has to find out for themselves how bad the film really is. Here's a brief preview: Batman has adopted a child at a charity event - apparently by mistake. His new son, Robin, really gets on the superhero's nerves. At the same time, Batman already has enough to do when fighting a handful of different people, as he so beautifully explains to his enemy Joker in the trailer. Duels in which it's all about big egos are pre-programmed. In principle, however, the whole film seems to revolve around the question: Can Batman be happy? A nice message for a long-running advertising programme, I would say.
Fanshop
For all the big fans, I've not only picked out the latest LEGO sets for the film, but also a few other fan articles relating to Batman.

I love the strategy game “The Settlers of Catan”, the Ravensburger puzzle “Colourful Cupcakes” and the pink fluffy unicorn that sits on my desk (a birthday present from my workmates). Not only do I have a weakness for toys, I also get excited about good food and comedy TV shows.
