Monochrome women's looks: good reasons in favour
For those who are keen to make up their minds: the monochrome trend is currently making the rounds on the catwalks and our Instagram feed, so it's tempting to try out the look for yourself. Especially when it comes with good arguments - which we are happy to list for you.
Since the beginning of autumn, I've preferred to wear all-black outfits because the monochrome look - no matter what colour - has many advantages that I'm happy to share with you:
- Tone-on-tone outfits are eye-catching and fulfil the motto: "Dress to impress" because they make you look polished in an instant .- Especially if you need to get going quickly in the morning, the look looks as if you put a lot of thought into putting your outfit together.
- If you feel like you've run out of things to wear (even though the clothes rail is full to the brim) but don't want to invest in a new wardrobe, the monochrome style provides variety.
- Packing becomes easier because you'll make fewer decisions once you've settled on 1-3 colours. What's more, you can also mix and match the individual pieces if you get bored.
- Without interruptions, you look bigger when completely immersed in one colour
- There's something for everyone: for those who like plain black or bright red, for example.
- The shape, material and textures of your favourites come to the fore and speak for themselves.
- "Last but not least": The next dirty wash will come down to one colour and make washing easier for you too.
Three popular colours for the monochrome look:
"Millennial pink"
Always an eye-catcher: red
"Evergreen": black
