Made in Germany: The simple "Yilmaz" coffee table
Only a few young labels decide not to relocate their production facilities abroad. The furniture company "Objekte Unserer Tage", whose founders come from Berlin, is one of them.
The trio of designers behind the Berlin label "Objekte Unserer Tage" know how to impress not only with the aesthetics and function of their designs, but also with their brand philosophy. The founders and product designers Christoph Steiger, David Spinner and Anton Rahlwes want to know where the things they consume come from. That's why they produce locally and oversee the creation process of their furniture collection from A to Z. This enables them to guarantee their customers high-quality furniture and answers at the same time. Objekte unserer Tage is therefore in tune with the times and appeals to a target group that is willing to invest more money in order to understand what and who they are supporting with their purchase.
The design
The "Yilmaz" design stands out just like the young brand, which has been around since 2015. Although its design does not follow any short-lived trends, its material is still very much on trend: the table top is made of marble, which has been enjoying a revival in the furniture industry and beyond since 2013. This is why you can find the stone in a wide variety of furniture designs and not just physically. Marble is cited by using it as a pattern for the design of wall stickers, smartphone cases or even internet browsers.

At the same time, the side table is not a fad that quickly fades away. On the contrary: a restrained frame and the robust materials steel and Volakas marble make it sustainable. Because its table legs form a hollow space, it is not too bulky. It is available in three other versions. If marble is too "heavy" for you, opt for the black or white versions with an ash wood table top.
