A few dabs of highlighter on the bridge of your nose and cheekbones will add freshness and dimension to your face in no time. Especially if you’re using one of the following two products.
The glorious days of highlighters are back. Not as in-your-face as back in 2016, when we practically had white bars on our faces, but in a more subtle, but equally effective way. So who ushered in the era? The new Lumi Sticks from L'Oréal!
The twist-out cream products in a practical jumbo pen format were launched as part of the Lumi line. Keep in mind that this isn’t merely a new product available in several colours. Instead, Le Glass and Le Glow are two different highlighters, each available in three shades. I tried them both and loved them both, even though they fulfil two different needs.
Le Glass is primarily for creating a wet or glass skin look. The base is almost transparent. Think of it as a kind of Vaseline infused with an ultra-soft shimmer that remains invisible when applied.

Le Glow, on the other hand, is reminiscent of a classic cream highlighter with its visible base and high shimmer density. Thanks to the fine particles, the glow effect still looks relatively natural and can be intensified without things looking OTT. However, you have to be into shimmer to enjoy this product.

Both products will boost your complexion in their own way. If you run your finger over your skin, Le Glass is more noticeable due to its smoother and richer texture. I’d almost describe them as sticky. In terms of texture, I’d say Le Glow feels lighter on the skin. You can apply the products with your finger. Light dabbing movements is all it takes. Their small, lightweight format makes the sticks particularly travel friendly.
At Galaxus, you’ll find over 150,000 beauty products – and more are on the way. That’s quite a range. And why I like to regularly share my favourites – from a selection of both novelties and classics.

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
