How to give your plants the stage they deserve
Once a week, this is where I share a small interior design idea with you. This week: how to arrange your plants even more beautifully.
Plant parents, listen up! There’s something you can do for your green babies apart from providing them with the right care: move them to an eye-catching flower pot or give them a platform where they can shine. One where they’re free to grow as they please and where you can meet them at eye level. As you can see in these photos by furniture manufacturer Ferm Living, you can place individual flower pots on stones or columns to highlight them.

Elevating the odd plant pot is easily done. First, arrange your flowerpots by shape and size. Make sure some of them overlap. Small, narrow pots should be elevated or placed in the forefront, while larger, wider ones are best placed on the ground and at the back. If you have plants that are the same size, create different height levels with the help of books, magazines or furniture. Or do as Ferm Living does and work with columns – et voilà: the whole arrangement is upgraded.
