Galaxus Mobile goes international

In the past, Galaxus Mobile wasn’t the best mobile plan for business travellers or holidaymakers spending a lot of time overseas. Though our data packs did – and do – fare well in cross comparisons, those in need of more than just an extra gigabyte for the odd vacation originally got a better deal by signing up to an international plan. One of these very plans has now been added to the Galaxus Mobile cosmos.

Here’s a quick list of the advantages of Galaxus Mobile International:

• Unlimited national data
• 5G network access
• Unlimited calls and SMS throughout Switzerland
• Unlimited data in the EU/USA (up to 20 GB at full speed)
• 100 minutes per month CH -> EU/USA, EU/USA -> CH or EU/USA -> EU/USA

You can get all of this in an individual plan for 39 Swiss francs per month. With the Family + Friends option, however, you can save up to 4 francs a month. So if you’re in a Family with your gran, your best mate, your cousin and your flatmate, you’ll only pay 35 francs a month. It doesn’t matter whether your fellow Family members have an International plan too.

Consistently low prices, no hidden costs

Galaxus Mobile still refuses to take part in the discount battles typically seen elsewhere in the business: «Our customers will always get excellent prices and excellent service, regardless of whether they sign up to their plan on Black Friday or before their autumn vacation,» says Thomas Peter, the man responsible for Digitec Galaxus’s range of mobile plans.

As is typical of Galaxus Mobile, the International plan has no minimum contract duration. Customers can cancel on a month-to-month basis, with those still in the first month of their contract having the option to cancel at any time. Plus, there are no activation fees for new customers. «This sets us apart from many other providers who might offer similar plans at a lower price during promotional periods,» Thomas says. «Not only that, but customer service is massively important to us at Galaxus Mobile.»
