From Switzerland: 5 local products

Local over global! Here are five Swiss companies and products that aren’t as famous as Ricola, Victorinox or Swatch, but are just as awesome.
Design classics from the canton of Glarus
Le Corbusier already realised in 1925 how great the chairs by Horgenglarus are. The chairs are still manufactured today in almost the same traditional way as they were back then. They’re bent into the right shape with the help of wood steam. Produced in Glarus, 70% of the wood for the chairs comes from the local forests in the canton of Jura. In addition to the well-known chairs, we also offer Horgenglarus tables and stools.

Their UV filter also protects against harmful UV-A and UV-B rays up to 400 nanometers.
Shower curtains and terry towelling designed in Switzerland
In addition to shower curtains, «Kollektiv Vier» also produces bath towels and bath mats made of natural fibres. The design collective creates art you can touch. The three founders produce the designs together and always base them on a poem, which they transform into a collage.

The long-established company brought three well-known Chefs de Bar on board to create their very own gib: Peter Roht and Christian Heiss from Kronenhalle Bar in Zurich and Markus Blattner from Old Crow Bar in Zurich. According to the manufacturer, the gin boasts a distinct juniper aroma and warm Asian spices.
