Feel like you're in Scandinavia: a Nordic look for the outdoors
I really like the Scandinavian style. It combines features that I like when it comes to furnishing: simple shapes and colours, and no fuss. It makes it easy to decorate the interior - and the garden too.
Apply the look outdoors in 3 simple steps
1. Create an oasis of well-being
As Nordic design focuses on clear shapes, rooms have a tidy appearance. Functionality and comfort come first. On the terrace or balcony, furniture in the main colours white and grey also offer a sense of harmony.
2. Let the light in
Light plays a big part in Scandinavian style. As well as comfortable furniture, the cosy atmosphere is also created by using targeted light. Once the sun has set, the glow of candles and outdoor lamps makes the eyes shine.

3. Focus on the essentials
Inside and out, focal points complete the look. However, these are less flashy in the North and convince with their understated nature. Which, in the garden, could mean monochrome flower pots to show off your plants.
Minimalism is also popular on the pattern side: stripes or geometric shapes on textiles bring a sense of calm and a Mediterranean touch to the garden room and its surroundings.
