There are simple tricks to make ill-fitted clothing or accessories fit nicely. I’m showing you these hacks in a multi-part series. Today: how to keep necklaces from tangling.

Flirting? Not at all. When I'm «playing» with my necklace again, it's not a clumsy attempt at flirting, but at untangling my necklace. This often happens because I always wear two necklaces at the same time and they constantly get tangled. But that’s about to change. In today's part of this series, I'll show you a life hack for necklaces.

This is what you need

  • Two necklaces you like
  • A calm mind, as you’ll be working mirror-inverted
Necklace number one is connected to necklace number two – and vice versa.

How it works

Take the two necklaces and drape them around your neck so that the clasps are at the front, on your décolleté. Now connect the snap hook of chain number one to the snap ring of chain number two. Do the same with the other two ends. Now turn the clasps to the back, as you usually wear your necklace. That's all it takes. By pulling on one of the two chains, you can vary their length to your liking without them getting tangled. This makes wearing two chains more fun and makes sure your attempts at untangling aren't interpreted as clumsy flirting.

Shorten or lengthen the necklaces by pulling on one of them.
