Vases come in all shapes and colours - and of course in every price category. If you're on a budget, you can try your hand at making this extremely simple low-budget version yourself. Failure is impossible, even for extremely untalented individuals.
Unfortunately, I'm not that good with vases. And vases don't seem to have it in for me either. They almost always end up on the floor (sooner or later) involuntarily. So it's hardly surprising that I refuse to spend a lot of money on an object that makes even a mayfly at home feel old. Time for a really affordable alternative.
Drink as much as you can, then rinse out your empty can with water and leave it to dry.
Carefully squeeze the can with both hands so that it looks slightly demolished. If you like more destruction, you can also squeeze a little harder.
Throw a handful of pebbles through the opening of the can and then turn the sealing tab so that the opening on the tab is directly above the drinking opening of the can.
Place the can on a newspaper mat in the fresh air and spray it with an acrylic spray in the colour of your choice. Leave to dry well.
If you want, you can now tackle the detail work in the form of dots. To do this, simply dip a cotton bud in white acrylic paint and press it onto the can at regular intervals.
Fill the tin with a little water. Together with the previously added pebbles, the structure should now be stable.
Now you just need to find some flowers somewhere and thread them skilfully through the opening in the sealing flap so that they stand upright.
If you're too lazy to do it yourself, you can find our range of vases here.

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
